Lette Blanche Beach
It is next to the Landes forest and just 12 minutes (9.3 km) by car from the campsite. Although wild and preserved, it features lifeguard stations, showers, and toilets. It’s perfect for a swim that combines tranquility with comfort.
Chênes Lièges Beach
Located south of the Moliets-et-Maâ seaside resort, it is 23 minutes (17.6 km) from the campsite. To get there, you’ll need to walk about 900 m from the car park. It will be worth the effort, as you might find yourself alone, surrounded by magnificent nature.
Contis Beach
It will take you 27 minutes to cover the 22.4 km separating La Jaougotte from the vast Contis beach. Swimming is only recommended in the section opposite the seaside resort of the same name, as it is supervised. The setting of this site is superb, with its golden sand and numerous surrounding dunes.
Port D’Albret Beach
To reach Port d’Albret beach from Camping La Jaougotte, allow 35 minutes (25.5 km). You’ll then discover a swimming area perfect for families, as it’s well-equipped, and the water is shallow and pleasantly warm. Various bars and food outlets will be available.
Lespecier Beach
Located 39 minutes (34.8 km) from the campsite, the fine sandy Lespecier beach is in Mimizan. It is considered the wildest beach in the resort. You can swim there in complete tranquility as it is practically deserted. However, it does have toilets.
Bourdaines Beach
These are the most beautiful swimming spots in Seignosse. Very uncrowded, it’s perfect for quiet sunbathing or for tackling the waves if you’re a surf enthusiast. It is located 41 minutes (35.9 km) from the campsite.
Central beach
Located in Hossegor, it is 44 minutes (37.9 km) from the Landes campsite. It is one of the most famous and popular beaches in the region, and as such, it is supervised. This spot is so pleasant that even outside the summer season, you’ll find people strolling along it.
Remember Beach
This beautiful beach in the Mimizan resort is 46 minutes (41.4 km) from the campsite. Surrounded by forest and dunes, it is very pleasant. Its central part is the busiest and is supervised. The further you move away from it, the quieter it will be, and you might then encounter surfers or naturists.
Estacade Beach
This beach in Capbreton, located 48 minutes (51.5 km) from La Jaougotte, gets its name from its 189-meter pier. You can observe the many sailboats and other pleasure boats mooring or heading out to sea. Moreover, it is one of the most romantic places in Les Landes at sunset.
Navarrosse Beach
Further away than the others, this beach is 95 minutes (74.1 km) from the campsite. We still recommend it, as it is family-friendly and children love that it’s shallow for a long stretch. It is also shaded thanks to the surrounding pine trees.
