There are many sites to see near Vielle Saint Girons and many activities are available.

It is 3km from the campsite, in the village of Saint Girons.
For activities, there are of course water activities in the ocean and freshwater lake.
You will find everything you need on each ocean beach, surfing – lifeguard attended swimming – beach games and SUNBATHING of course (be sure to get both sides) as well as restaurants. Heads up, the beautiful Lette Blanche beach (7km from the campsite) is natural, there is only a lifeguard station. No shops.
The Vielle Lake (freshwater) where you can rent boats, windsurf and eat. The beach is monitored from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Mountain biking in the Landes forest is a lot of fun. If you think that the Landes are flat, you’re mistaken. The bike paths are groomed for comfort and recreation and safety.
And don’t forget walks in the forest. For 30 min, 1 hour or more, you are right in the middle of nature XL. Careful, it is strictly forbidden to walk on the dune. Natural barrier between the ocean and the forest. The dune is protected and serious human efforts go into preserving it. Respect the dune and the work of these people.
Equestrian centers offer rides, introduction courses.
There are many petanque courts in the Landes, the one at the campsite is very popular. A place to meet friends and have a good time.
Another activity specific to our region, maybe even exclusive to it, is floating. You float like you’re in a bubble. You send your tasks packing and don’t do anything. YOU’RE ON HOLIDAY. Try it out at least one day during your trip. (Instructions and tips are available at reception)
